Happy Easter! (Only a few months late…….)

Regardless of what your celebrations must be free of, they should always be Full of HOPE! My cousin came up with this acronym:

Heaven
Opened for
People
Everywhere

That’s what Easter is about!

It’s what Every Sunday is about: Celebrating what Jesus did to offer the HOPE of Heaven to everyone!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:16-17

Here’s a delicious treat for any celebratory occasion!

Raspberry-Applesauce Jello

32 oz applesauce
2 small boxes (or 1 big box) jello raspberry flavored gelatin
12-24oz frozen raspberries

Mix everything in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through and berries are thawed. Be careful! It will spit and splatter if not stirred often. When good and hot, pour into a bowl or jello mold and wait!

Serve plain or top with whipped cream.

Options:
-Add 1-2 packets of unflavored gelatin for an even firmer set. (Bloom the gelatin in 1/4 cup of water, then add to the pot)

-Use Green Apple Jolly Rancher Jello (or apple flavored jello) instead of raspberry, and omit raspberries. Drizzle each serving with caramel sauce!

-Serve hot, straight from the pot for a warm dessert.
